Seattle U returns to ShoWare Dec 19

The Seattle University men’s basketball team will be making a return trip to the ShoWare Center Thursday Dec. 19, 2013 when the Redhawks take on Norfolk State in a 7:00 p.m. game.

Seattle University will be playing in the ShoWare Center for the third straight year. They are 1-1 at the ShoWare Center having beaten Evergreen State and losing to Cal Bakersfield last year.

This year, the Redhawks will face Norfolk State, which finished 21-12 last year and lost to Virginia in the first round of the NIT tournament. In 2011-2012, Norfolk State went 26-10 and beat Missouri in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Seattle University finished 8-22 last season but the Redhawks finished second among Western Athletic Conference coaches in a pre-season poll.

Tickets are available through the ShoWare Center and are $30 for a VIP ticket that includes dinner, $25 for a courtside seat, $17 for a reserved seat and $10 for general admission.
