Les Schwab Tipoff Classic this weekend

The high school basketball season officially kicks off this weekend with the Les Schwab Tipoff Classic, set for Saturday Dec. 2 at Auburn Riverside High School. A total of five boys games and three girls games are set for the one-day event.
The host teams Auburn Riverside will round out the schedule with the girls playing Puyallup at 7:00 p.m. and the Auburn Riverside boys taking on Rogers at 8:30 p.m. Another local team Auburn will face White River boys at 5:00 p.m.
The Kentwood girls and Franklin Pierce girls kickoff the event with a game at 9:00 a.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students with ASB cards.
